About Dr. Kayla

On a Mission For a Lifetime

From an early age, I knew that I wanted to be in healthcare, allowing people to heal and function at their God-given potential. In April 2013 I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology. I am certified in the Webster Technique, and have a passion for helping women and children.

Searching for more ways to help patients, I found, personally, and with family, that Functional Medicine provides the solution that benefits every patient. Functional medicine focuses on understanding the organ system, not the symptom, and gets to the cause of the problem. By using extensive lab testing and functional biomarkers, functional medicine is the clinical decision-making needed to look at mechanisms, not diseases. In October, I graduated from the Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) course through the Institute for Functional Medicine. I look forward to helping patients across the globe with their healthcare needs. My mission is to help patients make lifestyle changes, take action towards their health, and be able to live their life to their fullest potential!

My husband, Ben, and I live in Minneapolis, MN with our son Cooper, and enjoy football games, spending time with family, & exploring Minnesota!
